Falls Church, VA – Tax Analysts, along with the Transatlantic Business Dialogue and the Center for Strategic and International Studies, is sponsoring a tax policy discussion among top U.S. and European officials on Monday, March 5, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, 1150 22^nd St., NW, Washington DC.

The event, “Driving Transatlantic Competitiveness: The Need for Cooperation on Tax Policy and Trade Facilitation,” begins at 4 p.m. with a panel discussion on transatlantic tax issues with Eric Solomon, Assistant Treasury Secretary for Tax Policy; Pamela Olson, former Assistant Treasury Secretary for Tax Policy; and – from the EU’s Taxation and Customs Union Directorate General – Robert Verrue, Director General; and Michel Aujean, Director, Analyses and Tax Policy.

Then, at 5 p.m., European Union Commissioner László Kovács, Taxation and Customs Union, will deliver his first American Keynote Address.

The next morning at 9:30 a.m., U.S. and European officials will hold a roundtable on trade issues.
