July 14-18, 2008 Leiden, The Netherlands The International Tax Center Leiden is pleased to announce its second intensive summer course in International Tax Law. It will be held in Leiden, the Netherlands from July 14-18, 2008. This high-level learning course will feature experienced top teachers from the Advanced LLM Program in International Tax Law at Leiden University. Monday, July 14 Fundamentals of international taxation Tuesday, July 15 Introduction to tax treaties Wednesday, July 16 Business profits taxation under tax treaties Thursday, July 17 Passive income and capital gains under tax treaties Friday, July 18 Income from employment, pensions, etc. under tax treaties All classes are taught in the landmark building of the ITC in the historical center of Leiden. Daily teaching hours will be from 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Tuition fee: € 2000 (incl. reading materials and the following two books: Arnold/McIntyre, International Tax Primer (KLI, 2002; 185 pp)) and Van Raad (ed.), Materials on International & EC Tax Law 2005-2006 (ITC, Leiden, approx. 3000 pp). A second week of advanced tax issues will be offered if a minimum number of participants (10) confirm their registration by effecting the payment of the course fee. When participating in both courses a € 500 discount applies: total tuition fee is € 3.500 (VAT excluded). Register by April 1, 2008 to receive a 10% discount on the tuition fee.
